This is a photo of our very first training group, they attended our pilot course held at Castle Park Rugby Club Doncaster. July 27th - August 13th 2009
This course ran for three weeks, bi- weekly and covered, Heelwork, Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Leave it, Door & Stair Manners, Recall, general good manners meeting people and other dogs etc. The first evening was attended by the handlers without their dogs and began with a presentation by each trainer, Brians subject was dog psychology and the NILIF programme, Sue covered canine language and calming signals and Gav demonstrated clicker training with his Rottweiller Anja. On the last night we had fun and games, musical sits and downs, timed recall races and Rally 'O', the group left with smiles on their faces and happy dogs, clutching their prizes and attendance certificate. We were also please to welcome, Adrian from Trophy Pet Foods, Emma from Spittlehouse Vets and Melissa who is training with COAPE, Thank you for your help you three.
